The Studio at Gallant Therapy Services
The Studio is a community supports program of Gallant Therapy Services.
We are a unique company whose mission is to improve the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, developmental delays, and Autism.
The Studio is a creative space for artists, writers, and makers of all abilities, located right on the water in Hallowell. Focus is given to whole person development, through programming promoting wellness, healing, coping skills, social skills, independence, and self expression. We believe that the arts provide the opportunity for individuals to express themselves, build skills and self-confidence, and create an avenue for increasing independence and self determination.
Guided by Direct Support Professionals with art backgrounds, artists of all abilities will create and showcase their art while exploring new interests, learning time management skills, developing relationships, and integrating within the local community. An individual service plan/treatment plan is developed with each participant and their team that illustrates the specific skills that will be focused upon.
Individuals interested in joining The Studio at GTS must be eligible for Mainecare Section 21 or Section 29 Community Supports and subject to prior authorization. Private pay options are available.
