A Conversation with Monica Wood at the Hubbard Free Library
*Due to the expected popularity of this event, tickets are required! Please ask at the front desk of the library or call to reserve your seat!*
We're thrilled to welcome the beloved novelist, memoirist, playwright, and Maine native Monica Wood to the Hubbard! For this live, one-night event she will share insights into the research behind her latest novel, "How to Read a Book," a moving story about second chances, unexpected connections, and the power of books to bring people together.
In addition to "How to Read a Book," Monica is the bestselling author of "The One-in-a-Million Boy," "When We Were the Kennedys," and several award-winning plays. A passionate library advocate, she weaves support for public libraries into every talk—and the Hubbard Free Library holds a special place in her heart.
Don’t miss this evening with one of Maine’s literary treasures.
