  • Hallowell City Hall 1 Winthrop Street Hallowell, ME, 04347 United States (map)

The Gaslight Theater is proud to present a Reader's Theater event at the City Hall Auditorium. Stephen King's story, The Reach has been adapted for the stage by Lucy Rioux.

Director Richard Bostwick brings to life this story of a woman who has lived her long, long life entirely on Goat Island off the coast of Maine, never once leaving the island. Until she hears the voices of her dead friends and loved ones, calling to her to cross the Reach and join them on the mainland.

There are two shows on May 17th, at 2pm and 7pm. The show runs approximately 90 minutes. Admission is by donation and all proceeds benefit the Hubbard Free Library.

City Hall Auditorium is on the 2nd floor of City Hall - there is an elevator and the building is wheelchair accessible. City Hall is located at 1 Winthrop Street in Hallowell, Maine.
