Celebrate Earth Day 2025 in Hallowell - Afternoon Event

Noon – 3pm at Vaughan Field: Art in the Park for All Ages!

Join the Hallowell Arts & Cultural Committee (HACC), artist Kevin Sudeith, Michel Paul Studio, and the Spiral Dance Collective as we celebrate Hallowell’s winged residents - chimney swifts!

Meet Kevin Sudeith as the HACC dedicates the park’s chimney swift petroglyphs. Kevin will also lead a Printmaking workshop involving water-based paints and petroglyphs. Michel Paul Studio will host Mask making inspired by chimney swifts and the Spiral Dance Collective will host a Dance workshop exploring the movements and behaviors of the chimney swifts.

These intergenerational community activities will be incorporated into the Spiral Dance Collective’s dance finale performed at 2:45 p.m.

Vaughan Field Park event rain date is Sunday, April 27; same times.

All activities are kid and family friendly!
