From Slate’s event page: As many of you may know, one of our own, Darlene LaValley had a heart attack & major open heart surgery 2 weeks ago today. Wendy and the Slates Crew are putting together a Benefit at Slates Restaurant to show our support for Darlene!! Although she does have insurance, she will be out of work for the foreseeable future & the bills are already piling up.
