Fixing the Crane & New City Hall Hours

As you’ve probably noticed, there is yellow caution tape surrounding the historic crane in Granite City

Park and the main boom is now laying on the ground. It has been rotting and was a danger to the public.

The boom will remain on the ground at the Park until work begins to rebuild it. According to Public Works

Manager, Tom Goraj, a contractor will soon be chosen for the project.

New City Hall Hours

Starting at the end of June, City Hall will be open from

8am to 5pm, Monday – Thurs-day.

City Hall will be closed on Fridays.
